Your fitness journey will begin with a free comprehensive assessment. Moving forward in a safe and effective way is dependent on understanding your specific needs.
Initial Consultation
I will take the time to get to know you by discussing your goals, training history, pervious/existing injuries, and give you an opportunity to share anything that is specific to you.
Physical Assessments
Next, I will take a look at some fundamental movements and identify your strengths, movement restrictions and discover alignment issues that need to be addressed.

Now that we understand your goals and what is needed to make that a reality, I will construct a custom routine for you! Most people train 2-3 days a week, but the frequency is defined by you and the speed at which you want to reach your goal.

Nutritional Counseling/Weight Management
Learn the importance of healthy eating and how to incorporate it into your lifestyle to reach your goals. Nutritional coaching can teach you proper portion sizes, the difference between macronutrients and the amount of each you should be consuming. Just like exercise, nutritional needs are different for everyone. I will be there every step of the way to help guide you to what works best for your body!
Learn how proper nutrition can prevent metabolic syndrome, type 2 Diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, Alzheimer’s, and many other chronic diseases. Not only will you see the changes in your body, but you will feel them as well. You truly are what you eat!
Self Defense
Learning how to protect yourself not only can literally save your life, but it has the added benefit of building an unmatched sense of confidence and power! I will teach you the knowledge and skills that you need in today's world to deal with a myriad of threats.
· I teach using realistic scenarios. I will teach using real-life scenarios of violence and potential violence by playing the role of perpetrators so that students are prepared to counter an actual assailant.
· Training is tailored to each individual. Techniques can be learned by virtually anyone, regardless of age or physical ability. Class sizes are limited to provide a maximum level of individual instruction. Private lessons are also an option.
·Classes are taught in an extremely supportive environment, and I help students develop their inner strength and work through their fears, as well as honing their physical abilities.
About Wing Chun
Wing Chun is the most widely known and practiced style of Kung Fu in the world. Wing Chun is efficient, direct, practical, aggressive, and easy to learn, making it one of the best martial systems to learn for self-defense. Though I have a fondness for Wing Chun, you will also learn some western boxing and joint locking techniques in a longer martial arts program.
